Hello my name is Laura-I have 25 years experience as a master's degreed Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I work with clients experiencing Anxiety or Depression when dealing with life issues like: Loneliness, poor self esteem, relationship struggles/breakups, having difficulties with dating, child/sibling/family/spouse conflicts or estrangements, co-worker/“bad boss” stress, shopping addictions, women's issues, ADHD, childhood trauma, narcissist personality behaviors, persistent worries/negative thinking, feeling "stuck", communication problems, etc. Clients have described me as warm, caring, non-judgmental and empathetic. Other areas I specialize in are: grief/loss experiences, dealing w/ difficult behaviors, aging parents issues, caregiver fatigue, dealing with chronic illnesses, dementia, sleep disturbances, depression, going thru life transitions, recovering from surgery, cancer diagnosis, etc. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapy modalities
