Hi, I’m Courtney Burch. I specialize in working with teenagers who have begun to stray from their family of origin. My passion is helping teenagers reconnect with their parents, in effort to divert them from a troubled young adulthood. I believe in the family system and that a healthy system can heal the wounds of the family. I have extensive experience in the substance abuse world/12-step recovery, though I have a soft spot for harm reduction and forgiveness. I believe in working through wounds of early life, creating connection, and assisting clients in finding a joyful state of being. My challenges in young adulthood led me to earn an MS from Nova Southeastern University. I pride myself on collaborating closely with clients and families, using CBT, Structural, Strategic, Narrative, and EFT techniques, along with personal experience. I work from unconditional positive regard, focusing on acceptance, transparency, and building strengths.
