About

Parenting is the most profound journey, but it’s also the one that can bring up our own “stuff” and expose our deepest vulnerabilities. If you’re a parent or stepparent, or part of a couple or stepcouple, and you find yourself struggling with difficult moments, know this: you are not doing it wrong. The truth is, all of us have a core self that is whole and worthy, and so do our children. I believe that the most powerful parenting tool you have is your own self-awareness. So often, a child’s behavior or a partner’s comment can activate our deepest emotional triggers—those raw, familiar reactions rooted in our own past. View 4 Photos In our work together, we go to the source. Using evidence-based approaches like Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), EMDR, and an Internal Family Systems (IFS) lens, we explore where these reactions come from. We work to heal the echoes of past experiences and foster a more compassionate inner world, so you can respond from a place of calm presence.
