I'm Crystal, a Puerto Rican, gay woman of color and I believe that what you want isn't always what you need. That philosophy guides everything I do as a therapist. Sometimes what we think will make us feel better actually keeps us stuck. Real growth happens when we're willing to sit with discomfort and explore what's underneath our immediate wants. My approach doesn't feel like traditional therapy. Clients describe it as talking to a trusted friend who's going to uplift you during your hardest times while also challenging you to examine the mindsets that might be holding you back.
