I graduated from the Smith College School for Social Work in 1991. I have practiced clinical social work for the past twenty five years. I am a licensed clinical social worker with extensive training in inpatient psychiatric facilities such as Yale, outpatient child guidance clinics as well as nineteen years as a school social worker. I am especially skilled in working with adolescents, adults, and couples. I use mindfulness based stress reduction and supportive psychotherapy to work with individuals who are struggling with trauma issues, anxiety and depression.
