I am a licensed professional supervising counselor with 31 years experience in the community mental health field. My speciality is working with individuals struggling with emotional regulation issues that are interfering with their professional and personal lives. Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy are my theoretical orientations. I am a certified DBT therapist. I am also a supervising counselor in Alabama and have extensive experience in providing supervision to individuals seeking state sanctioned licensure as a licensed professional counselor. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I have started providing telehealth appointments to allow for physical distancing.
