I believe Love is at the heart of Life, though it gets covered up by painful experiences, the body's trauma responses, and our attempts to not feel that pain. We spend most of our energy avoiding overwhelming wounds and feelings. That's intelligent for getting on with life, but it doesn't address the core pain we feel when we're quiet, when we're alone, and when we're uncertain.
