About
As a psychotherapist, I help individuals, by fostering a safe and engaging environment, to express their feelings and think about their experiences. I support individuals in the context of the therapeutic relationship to better understand themselves and the difficulties they are having. I help clients identify and ascribe meaning to the things that are not in their awareness. In psychotherapy, individuals can learn to understand and manage their internal obstacles that have led to difficulties in their mood, behavior, self-esteem, jobs and relationships. In couple psychotherapy, I help couples discover the unique dynamics that keep them entrenched in the difficulties in their relationship. In learning to identify their unconscious interactions, the couple can understand and think about the ways in which problems have arisen and patterns have developed in order to find alternative ways of relating.
