Being a person is not easy. We are challenged everyday. Feelings of anxiety and depression are part of being a human being. The great skill is learning how to deal with these uncomfortable emotions. We can control how we think and act, but most people need encouragement, support, and knowledge to do this. As your therapist, I can support and guide you through this process. In addition I can teach you how to accept yourself with all your strengths and weaknesses and help you to identify and achieve your goals. Would you like to improve your mood? Have you set goals for yourself? Do you feel understood and engaged in the world? Using my extensive training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) we will work together to identify your unhealthy thoughts and behaviors. You will learn to challenge the thoughts that weigh you down and keep you from feeling content.
