Welcome to Dandelion Counseling & Care! We are a local, woman-owned private practice and small business established in 2014 in Washington, DC. When you choose one of our therapists, you are choosing a provider who is also local to the Washington, DC metropolitan area who lives here, and knows the ins and outs of living here. Our group therapy practice is comprised of a diverse group of therapists who are specially trained to meet your mental health needs. We see clients throughout the lifespan, so we serve children, adolescents, college students, young professionals, parents, and adults at every stage of development! View 11 Photos When you meet with one of our therapists, the first two sessions will be an assessment of your current functioning and the goals you want to set. We do ask for a commitment of 12 sessions or approximately 3 months of weekly therapy sessions before adjusting to a biweekly or monthly schedule. This helps your therapist get to know your specific needs.
