Whether you are an adolescent or an adult, one thing rings true for many of us: life can be challenging, and going through it alone doesn't always help. Historically, adolescents, young adults, people of color, LGBTQIA+, and neurodiverse individuals have often times been at risk of mental health disorders because our support systems are lacking. This can impact us by lowering our motivation & capacity to go to work or school, maintain and/or build new relationships, make us suicidal or homicidal, among other issues. Having someone to talk to can often help us breathe more deeply and process life more intentionally.
