As humans, we are incredibly resilient; able to bear seemingly unbearable hurt, pain, and wounding experiences. However, our pain is not meant to be held alone- as we need a present and safe other to help us hold all that has been endured. I believe that therapy takes place within this precise context where your experiences and feelings have a dwelling place to be explored, processed, and held in the therapeutic relationship. It is with the intention of exploration, rather than expectation, that we work together- where experiences that may have not had a home before, can be tended to in newfound and meaningful ways.
