Hello and welcome! First, I'd like to acknowledge the courage it takes to seek support. Way to show yourself some love and care! My name is Daniel and I am a board licensed therapist in Oakland, CA with 20 years of experience, including training and supervision of other therapists. I use Internal Family Systems and other therapies to treat major depression, anxiety, and the many effects of traumatic life experiences. Our first sessions will be focused on getting to know each other, building trust, seeing whether we are good fit for each other. I want to hear your story, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to achieve. I will explain the way that I work and what our collaborative process will look like.
