About
If you are seeking a therapist for yourself, or for your child or teen, you may have observed concerning changes in one or more important domains: social, academic, or behavioral. You, or your child or teen, may be experiencing anxiety, depression, or less pleasure in activities previously enjoyed, or perhaps may be experiencing less joy and success – or more frustration, fear, or isolation – in school, at home, or in peer relationships. As a marriage and family therapist, I help children, teens, and adults to thrive – in school, in their families, in relationships … in life. My style is collaborative, skills-based, and respectful. I work with individuals, couples, and families who are navigating a variety of issues including trauma and healing, loss and grief, and relationship and parenting challenges. In addition to my training as a therapist, my practice is informed by my many years as a middle and high school teacher, as well as by my life experience as a husband and father.
