I believe in the strength, creativity, and resilience of people. After thirty years in licensed practice, I can see more clearly than ever that people are not hopelessly stuck. I believe that people do the best they can in the face of difficult and challenging circumstances. However, it is easy to get stalled in unproductive patterns of behavior. I want to help people find new tools and new ways of relating to others. My work is to help people find new perspectives, new ways of looking at problems, so that they can approach life with confidence, assurance, and serenity.
