Danielle Thrush is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a School Counselor with a Master of Science Degree in Community Mental Health and School Counseling from Fort Hays State University. Danielle specializes in working with children ages 4-13 and some teens in her private practice. Danielle was also in education for 14 years as a school counselor and teacher in Wichita Public Schools. While working with a specialized Positive Behavior Support program in Wichita Public Schools, Danielle gained experience in working with children exhibiting aggression, self-injurious behaviors, and many whom experienced severe trauma. Danielle listens to parents to provide productive feedback and interventions that can easily be implemented to help the child succeed to the best of their ability at home, school, and within the community. She uses mindfulness, CBT, DBT & other evidence based techniques to teach her clients the skills to manage and cope with strong emotions.
