About
Many of us have been through traumatic experiences that have left us feeling hopeless, overwhelmed, and vulnerable to unhealthy patterns. We experience an inner critical voice that tells us we are ugly, worthless, or not good enough. I love to provide a safe and comforting space for clients to process their difficult life experiences, break through cycles of shame, and begin recovery from addictive behaviors, including eating and embodiment issues. Together, we focus on healing, reclaiming health, practicing intuitive self-care, celebrating your authentic self and beauty, and cultivating radical self-love and self-compassion. My clinical practice includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills, sand tray, ego state therapy, compassion focus, and somatic EMDR. I have a long history of substance use counseling. I also utilize the Be Body Positive model to provide ethical care when treating eating and embodiment problems.
