I'm a Bronx-based LCSW who took an unusual detour through elementary education that actually made me a better therapist. Those five years in DOE classrooms taught me how systems fail families, how stress shows up in behavior, and why kids act out when adults miss the real message. Now I bring that systems understanding to my clinical work with children, families, and adults. My approach is practical and immediate - we hit the ground running with goals because talking without action doesn't create change.
