Taking the first step on the path of healing is often the most difficult. Whether you have experienced complex grief, trauma, or general disconnection from your self and others, it can feel daunting to know where to begin. Isolation can perpetuate our experiences of fear, doubt, and insecurity, and it takes courage to consider shining a light on these feelings. My goal as a counselor is to work myself out of a job. My independence-based approaches offer clients an opportunity to turn toward struggles with compassion, build resilience, and work to lessen symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, OCD and more.
