Hello, my name is Dara Presley, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist living in Northern California, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I use telehealth to work with California clients ranging in age from adolescents and young adults to 85 years old. I utilize Psychodynamic approaches, Attachment theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and I take from several other types of therapy as needed to help clients. I do find it helpful for clients to understand how they got to be the way they are, take an honest look at who they are today, then decide what, if anything, they want to change moving forward.
