About
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. I earned my Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Guam and my Masters in Social Work with a concentration in mental health from Washington University in St. Louis. I have over 3 years of experience providing client-centered, strength-based, solution-focused, and trauma-informed therapy in community-based mental health services. My training has allowed me to work with diverse populations including adults with severe mental illness and substance use disorders, people who were formerly incarcerated, human trafficking survivors, refugees, and immigrants. I am passionate about listening to people’s stories and learning about the complexities individuals experience that make them who they are. I feel honored to be a therapist and serve people in working through the entanglements of the human experience. I strongly believe that every person has the ability to overcome life’s challenges.
