Aloha! Making a decision to attend a counseling session can be very scary! However, counseling can provide an opportunity to stop, reflect, heal, and gain hope in a safe and professional atmosphere. My task as a therapist is to work along side of you to help guide you toward answers you may seek. I believe that all difficulties contain a small seed of opportunity within them and I can support you in clarifying yours while resolving obstacles that may get in the way. I may use many methods to deal with the concerns you hope to address. Counseling requires you to also be an active participant in the process. In order for counseling to be effective, you will need to work on things we talk about both during the sessions and at home.
