Thank you so much for considering me as your therapist. I know the journey of coming to therapy can feel intimidating at first, but this is a major step and an important one- I am glad you are here! Many people have fears associated with coming to therapy... is it actually going to help? Am I going to get some diagnosis confirming my fears? Is it going to uncover painful things I don't want to think about? All of these worries are completely normal. I want to reassure you, you are the captain of this ship. My job is to help you navigate the waters based on my experience and professional training. My job is to reassure you that the experiences you are having are valid, and help you to recognize your strengths in this important work you are doing for yourself.
