People are best treated in a relaxed, comfortable environment with a knowledgeable and caring therapist. I am a well-trained, experienced psychotherapist with a prior background in nursing. My nursing training has given me not only a dedication to caring for patients but also a working knowledge of different medical problems and how they can seriously disrupt a person's life. In treating my patients, I have expertise and training in a number of different approaches, including individual, family, and couples therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These skills help my patients maximize their strengths.
