In my practice, I always start with genuine empathy to create a safe, nonjudgmental space. My therapeutic approach is action-oriented and primarily present-focused. What are you doing right now that is contributing to your desired outcome? My eclectic treatment interventions pull from behavioral, cognitive, motivational interviewing, and superhero therapy perspectives. I work together with my clients to find a strategy that specifically addresses their needs. Through helping develop coping skills, healthy boundaries and positive self-talk mantras, I empower my clients to face and overcome the obstacles in their path.
