You’ve experienced a great loss or significant trauma and your world feels dark and confusing. You feel lost, overwhelmed, anxious, angry, numb, and exhausted – often all at the same time. You’re wondering who you are now and if you’ll ever feel like yourself again. I get it. I’ve experienced it. Grief and traumatic stress are messy and unruly, and they definitely don’t obey clearly defined stages or fit neatly into any timeframe. Still, as painful as this is to hear, grief is normal, natural, and necessary. And, healing from a traumatic experience is possible. You don’t have to face either alone. I’d be honored to walk with you. While I don’t have magic words to quickly end your anguish or cure your grief (because those words don’t exist), what I do offer is a place where it can be truly seen. A place to honor your love, your loss, and your experience, speak without fear of judgment, be respected for the pace and shape of your journey, and feel supported along the way.
