As a clinical neuropsychologist I work with clients to identify areas of cognitive strength and weakness and relate those patterns to known profiles of brain-behavior relationship. The process involves an interview, collateral contacts, and carefully selected standardized assessment of brain and emotional functioning. A neuropsychological evaluation may help identify dementia, direct therapies after traumatic brain injury, or tease out ADHD from learning disorder and other developmental conditions.
