I have provided psychotherapy in my private practice since 2016 after 25 years working at the University of Illinois, McKinley Health Center, Mental Health Department. At McKinley I was a member of a clinical team that included three Psychiatrists, two Psychologists and two Clinical Social Workers. Many of my referrals have come from Physicians who I coordinate care with as we seek to add non-medicine coping skills for anxiety and mood management. While medications can be helpful, I believe it is important to address situational factors and build coping skills to more fully address my client's problems.
