My counseling style is multi-modal with emphasis on Cognitive/Behavioral, Motivation Enhancement (Motivational Interviewing), Humanistic, and Brief Solution focused therapy. I h experience working with children, adolescents, and families focusing on family crisis, conflict, and relationship issues. I also have experience ( 6 yrs) of providing EAP services for Employee Assistance Programs providing solutions focused interventions for EAP clients. I provide crisis intervention counseling and self harm prevention. My approach is solution focused with an self-insight approach to problem solving. One of my main focuses is improvong motivation in clients and the use of problem solving techniques to produce positive behavioral change in clients.
