I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. Working toward getting their lives back in their hands is the ultimate goal. These types of issues can bring about disruptive life choices and circumstances. The goal would be to better deal with these issues and live a life of grace and serenity. I have also enjoyed working with couples to help identify communication barriers to becoming closer to one another. My personal story of overcoming addiction and mental health issues offers a personal perspective and the ability to relate. I also draw on my education and experience. I feel that the combination of all three gives me a unique perspective into therapy and can offer real-life change and direction.
