My focus is on psychoeducational and psychological testing for children, teenagers and young adults who are having academic, emotional, social or behavioral difficulties. The first step in any assessment is establishing a strong relationship with the family and/or child to ensure valid and reliable results. Assessments are individualized for each client and consist of but are not limited to standardized tests, self-report, parent and teacher checklists, direct observations, formal and informal interviews and gathering of background information. Areas of expertise are learning disabilities, ADHD and executive dysfunction, autism, gifted learners and anxiety and depression. After testing is complete, parents will receive a comprehensive report with specific interventions that are empirically based and tailored for you or your child's needs.
