My approach is responsive to each individual's unique struggles and goals, drawing primarily from contemporary psychoanalytic theory. We will work together to identify how relationships and the social structures we reside in shape lived experience. Understanding the origins of unsatisfying relationships, anxieties, and grief can offer new perspectives and the potential for lasting change. Work with children, teens, and families (including parent guidance) is also informed by developmental and attachment-based theories, with an emphasis on cultivating inner growth, subjective experience (knowing oneself), self-esteem, and motivation.
