Hi! My name is Dr. David Luis Ortega. I work with families of teens who are significantly struggling. These difficulties can include self-harm, dysregulation, suicidality, depression, and difficulties staying in school. Often the teen will meet criteria (or display traits) for adolescent Borderline Personality Disorder. I will meet with the teen and parent(s) for family therapy, and sometimes meet with parent(s) only for parent coaching. Usually the teen has a therapist of their own with whom I closely collaborate. Sessions are goal driven to hold myself accountable for progress and change. I'm here to help!
