About

Your marriage or committed partnership can be a source of deep joy. But even ‘good marriages’ can also have times of deep pain and disconnection. You might long for a previous time together, when conversation was easy and meaningful, where each of you thought of ways to show how much you loved each other, when you shared dreams for your life, when you could never imagine life without this person by your side. You might remember how you felt like he or she just 'got' you more deeply than anyone ever had. You felt loved and cherished. You might remember fun times, adventures, playfulness, surprises, laughter. But now . . . Communication differences repeatedly lead to disconnection. Seemingly little things turn into major arguments. You sometimes feel alone in your marriage. You don’t feel valued or appreciated. Physical or sexual intimacy has diminished or fizzled out. You can’t go on like this. Is divorce the only option? Is it even possible to re-kindle love?
