I work to meet my clients where they're at to help identify unwanted patterns & difficult emotions that can arise after experiencing high stress, anxiety, panic, shame, or trauma. If left unaddressed, this can impact our mental health through misconceptions of self, or internalized negative self-talk; reducing our chances for growth. At times we can feel an urgency for things to stay the same, to avoid uncomfortable feelings, or more disruptions; but then a vital part of the therapy process may go unchecked. Which can reduce or limit opportunities to build stronger connection with others, & to set healthy boundaries for ourselves.
