My education in Social Work and training in relational psychoanalysis shape my approach. I keep one foot firmly planted in the real world and all its challenges, and the other in how our psychology fits—or doesn't!—with that world. This balance helps me guide clients through the messiness of life while also exploring their inner world. My background is an MSW at Yeshiva University and then 10+ years in community mental health/private practice. I have a niche working with clients whose identities intersect at some type of Jewish Orthodoxy and LGBTQ+. That said, a decade of clinical work has given me with a wide variety of demographic and diagnostic experiences.
