The areas which I tend to focus on in my practice include relationship dynamics, mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma. Regarding relationships, I work with couples dynamics, family of origin issues, and unhealthy patterns of interpersonal functioning. One area I work with a great deal is narcissistic abuse, whether it was a relationship with a parent or partner. I believe it is important to help clients develop coping skills in order to promote mental and emotional health and wellbeing. Additionally, I think it can be important to help clients modify thoughts which may keep them in unhealthy patterns of functioning.
