My clients, be it child or adult, come to me wishing to feel and function better. Because I work with a range of issues, that always looks different from patient to patient. They are looking for more peace in the house, peace of heart, better friendships, better school or work performance. Mostly they are looking for someone who will "get them" and provide a safe environment to explore and grow. Younger children can rarely point to the difficulty they experience, but adolescents and adults often know what they need, even if it is hard to verbalize at first. It is my job to help them clarify and then develop.
