I bring a lifetime of experience in human services, teaching and social work. I describe myself as an advanced generalist. I have identified as part of the LGBTQ+ community since the 1980's. I am single and have two daughters in their mid-thirties. My biological daughter is biracial. I am an ally in the BlackLivesMatter movement: as I see opportunity, I yield my voice to a sister or brother who knows better the challenges and what is needed now. My adopted daughter was in the Child Protective Services system from age 3-13.
