My experience over the past 20 years as a spiritual care provider and an addictions counselor influences how I view grief, trauma, and healing. I understand how being human can be a struggle and the experiences through stages of life and other transitions are not always in our control. A compassionate presence has a significant impact to ease the overwhelm and distress that are natural during these times. I trust that as we learn to navigate and unwind traumatic experiences, we will also create new sustainable conditions to live with a greater sense of understanding and wellbeing.
