About
Life’s challenges are sometimes difficult to manage alone, but the support and guidance of a therapist who is right for you can help restore your sense of well being, bring about positive changes in your relationships, and help you identify and achieve life goals. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years experience on the South Shore working with adults and elders dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and other behavioral health issues; as well as those who are bereaved, adjusting to changes in health, or wanting to develop a more optimistic attitude toward aging. My personal style is warm, thoughtful, humorous and non-judgmental. My main therapy approach is trauma- informed supportive and problem-solving treatment. I draw from other approaches such as ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), MBCT (Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy), and Positive Psychology, depending on your concerns and preferences.
