My clinical interests and expertise include working with individuals who are seeking to manage life stressors, navigate interpersonal and relationship issues, or explore and process the impact of life experiences, all with a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach. I also have experience working with various other specialties, including behavioral issues, substance use, addictive and impulsive behaviors, and domestic violence/abuse. I enjoy working with clients from adolescence to adulthood. I typically use an eclectic and person-centered approach, utilizing skills and approaches from trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), as well as schema and attachment theories to assist clients in managing their presenting symptoms.
