Denise Elizabeth Erker is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who has been in the field for over 25 years. She received her Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from SUNY Stony Brook, and she has worked in a wide variety of settings. Ms. Erker strongly believes in Trauma Informed Care. Her approach to care is to work collaboratively with the client. She has been trained in a number of different modalities, believing different people needs different ways of help, and sometimes people need one way of assistance one day and a different one another day. She has been trained in CBT, MI, DBT and EMDR. Ms.
