Counseling can appear to be overwhelming and intimidating. However it does not have to be this way. As we seek validation and acceptance in our lives, there are certain paths that we must take to find them. I believe one of the most important things is for people to learn how to get along with other important people in their lives, such as friends, spouses, siblings, relatives, co-workers, etc. Additionally, I strongly believe that the fundamental relationship between a client and counselor is to foster openness, trust, and personal growth.
