Aloha! Sometimes life can be overwhelming; therapy can provide a shelter from the storm! I have worked in Mental Health settings for 40 years. This experience has allowed me to ground my work in compassion and caring as well as providing fierce accountability as appropriate. Over the past 12 years I have worked in private practice focusing on trauma resolution and adding expertise in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprogramming (EMDR) and my favorite modality which is called Internal Family Systems work (IFS). Therapy, from an Integral perspective, has many levels to it: physical, emotional, mental and ultimately spiritual as well.
