I am Dennis N. Profitt, Ph.D., HSPP, a licensed psychologist with 21 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy across a wide range of client populations and treatment settings. My background includes work in college counseling centers, community mental health, partial hospitalization programs, assisted living facilities, and correctional environments. I have treated children, adolescents, and adults through individual, couples, and group psychotherapy and psychoeducation. I have extensive experience addressing depression and other mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, relationship challenges, stress and life adjustments, and substance use disorders. My clinical approach relies heavily on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, an evidence-based and highly effective modality I have used successfully with my clients.
