About
After finishing my Bachelor's degree from Wichita State University, I decided to take a year off before getting my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University in 2002. After spending several years in the social service world, I knew eventually I would end up in private practice and began on that path. I opened my private practice and eventually grew the practice to three different locations and managed a group of over 20 different providers. I also opened up and ran a group home for youth in foster care. At this time I accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, United Healthcare, Humana and Medicare View 8 Photos It is my belief that most people have a common emotional need – to felt listened to, heard, & understood. I knew at an early age that helping people alleviate pain in their lives was what I was put on this earth to do. Assisting people with finding a new perspective on their current life challenges and building good rapport are important factors in therapy.
