Desert Mountain Counseling LLC is a small group practice of trauma-informed therapists who provide effective evidenced based cognitive behavioral therapy to resolve or manage their symptoms related to anxiety, trauma, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, disordered eating, body image distress, ADHD, grief/loss, substance abuse, immigration, and relationship issues. We are validating and affirming and, as social workers, we are social justice oriented. We provide telehealth therapy for clients in AZ and have an office in Tucson. We are a small group practice under the clinical supervision of Suzanne Perkins, LCSW. Suzanne worked for over 23 years at the VA before starting private practice. We provide evidenced based therapy including ERP and I-CBT for OCD, EMDR, Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, CBT for Insomnia, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
