Hi, my name is Desiree, an LMFT who is calm, nurturing, and compassionate. My highest priority is that you feel a sense of emotional safety and ease as we begin our work together. I specialize in anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am also interested in healthy peer and intimate relationships, co-dependency, LGBTQ+ community, and adoption related issues. My approach is eclectic with an emphasis on CBT. Identifying faulty core beliefs in particular while working to accurately shift them can benefit overall progress. Increasing positive coping, self care, and mindfulness are also essential in my work.
