Destony is a Harlem native and a licensed clinical social worker. She received her graduate degree in Social Welfare from the University at Albany, State University of New York. As a clinician, Destony has worked with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults living with emotional and mental challenges. She has also worked with teens and young adults in school settings as well as homes for adults living with severe mental illnesses. Clients should expect to take away moments of deep reflection that engage both the mind and body. Learning to look and feel somatically at what the body is saying to you.
